Hiding the soft keyboard on iPad doesn't call DETACH_WITH_IME

Pressing return will call EventType::DETATCH_WITH_IME, but the ‘hide keyboard’ key does not. Circled red in the attached image.

There is an older post here but I guess it didn’t make it into 3.0/3.1?

Text input cannot call onTextFieldDetachWithIME on iPad when click "hide" on soft keyboard

Not sure if it is a bug since the soft key is designed for hiding the keyboard. Only iPad has that key on its soft keyboard, different from return key, which is handled automatically. 未标题-1.jpg (142.9 KB)
