I have had issues with some playback with the video component. For example I could not get a .mp4 file playing when it had AAC audio codec, it just got stuck without any errors. With AAC it didn’t even play through a computer browser. Same video without AAC codec played the video well.
I read that mp4 format and H.264 video codec should be the most fitting for most browsers, but I have had scenarios where I build the game on a Windows machine and the playback would not start on an iPhone X while on another iPhone X it did work (same browsers, tested in chrome and safari). After building it on a MAC it did work on both devices, but feels quite unstable.
Do you have any recommendations about video formats, codecs or how you can ensure that the video through the video component (or other solutions to play videos) work work properly in Cocos Creator?
