[Multi Resolution] How do I respond to the resolution without invading the safety area on the notch phone?

I am currently updating cocos2d-x version 3.8.1 to 3.17.2.

My existing game is in landscape mode.

The design resolution size of my game project is 480 x 320.

In the meantime, many iPhone devices have come out.

Now I’m going to support 6.1 inch devices.

How do I respond to the resolution without invading the safety area on the notch phone?
As shown in the picture, I want to use only the red area except for the safety area.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
