Fix for login issues error 420 Incorrect username password

I wanted to post a fix to log in issues that I have encountered. I recently started using Cocos Creator. After creating an account I tried logging in to the Dashboard but I kept facing the following error “420: [20007]用户名或密码错误” . I tried translating it to English and found that this means “Incorrect username or password”. This baffled me as the login details were working when used in a browser. Finally what worked for me was resetting the password with a shorter one (16 chars instead of 20 ). I use a password manager so I went with a long password. I was not stopped during account creation process when I set the long password, but I am guessing the Dashboard does not allow passwords that long. I hope this helps someone facing a similar issue.
