It is not easy for a newbie that first time comes into cocos2dx to look for a function’s usage in the wiki-page, for reasons that the API referrence lacks the detail illustration which is far from that of Boost, MFC, Qt, OpenCv and the likes. To name just a few, when I look up for CCEditBox control with native C++, it shows the result I want, that is, EditBox::InputMode. However, when I click the tab on the right-top labeled with ‘js’, I am totall at a loss. What is the enum type of INPUT_MODE in JS? I have to read the source code to extract. It wastes a lot of time, not convenient for developer, though a saying goes “practise makes perfect”.
