Start learning with V3alpha or v2.2

Hello all. I just started learning cocos2dx v2.2 a few days back. I noticed V3 alpha and saw there were some major changes in it. Should i use v2.2 or v3 alpha now? How long will it take for the v3 stable release to come out? I obviously do not intend to release any games in the coming 2-3 months using cocos2dx.

I love the 2.2 series, stable, lots of sample code, verrrry fast on all devices that matter.

Stable. Source code is easy to read, and stable.
