screen shot of the videoplay?

hi…

I have used the videoplay function of cocos2d extensions to cocos2dx to play mp4…

the video play isn’t the whole screen and there are other sprites behind the videoplay view.

I’d like to take screen shot if the videoplay along with other sprites…

when I used the screenshot using the ccrendertexture, it only showed other sprites without the videoplay view.

anyone? help?

Hi mike,
First of all congrats for your achievement! can you help me out for the same thing by providing the extensions you’ve used and also wanted to know you’ve done this for android or ios or both? Also any snippet would be very helpful.

hi… I’ve done this on iOS.
i used the cocos2d extensions… and here’s the link. https://github.com/cocos2d/cocos2d-iphone-extensions

and for taking screenshots… I think it’s not possible to take screenshots with the video player…
