My laptop supports only open gles 1.0. Is it possible to develop for open gles 2.0 if I have a android device that supports open gles 2.0?
Please Help with your knowledge

You only mentioned about gles2.0 in your sentence, and you only need gles2.0, any problem?

Extremely sorry about the mistake in my post. My laptop don’t support open gles 2.0. It only supports upto open gles 1.3. I’ll edit my post.
To be clear I’m not able to run the latest cocos 2dx version in my Windows laptop using android emulator 4.1 . Because the cocos 2dx latest version uses open gles 2.0. Will it be possible to run the same sample code that is given part of cocos 2dx latest version if I have an android device that supports open gles2.0.
