I run emulator on target android2.1, Most time the emulator is black screen! sometimes It work fine!
I don’t know why? and the emulator is very slow!

a lot of people is having the same issue 
i don’t know why developers don’t fix it, i thought it was a windows problem but i see you are on mac…
anyways running it with android 4.0 emulator will fix it (for me), i see your project is already android 4 and not working… strange!
yes I run it on mac, runing it with android 4.3, target 2.1!
