Have same issue with devices on Snapdragon 425/Adreno 308, but not on all of them and in some cases it may appear after android update. In case of Samsung J4+ the issue appeared after android updated from 8 to 9, but in case of Samsung SM-T387AA (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2018) it presents on both android 8 and 9.
Tried cocos2d-x V3.17.2 and V4 to see if there will be any difference but results are the same. Don’t know if it would be of any help but here are screenshots from cocos tests which are failed to work correctly.
