E-mail notifications

Few weeks ago i noticed that i don’t recive e-mail notifications from cocos2dx forum. Could we enable them back because it is hard to follow changes and new topics on forum.

You could turn them off for all users but please let us have possibility to turn them on.

Yeah, that’d be so much easier to keep track on what’s going on. Please restore this feature.

OK, I will fix it these days.

Now you have many ways to keep track on what’s going on:

  1. RSS: use any RSS reader like google reader or Feedly or something else, just add this link: http://www.cocos2d-x.org/forums.atom for all the new topics; or http://www.cocos2d-x.org/forums/6.atom only for new topics in C++ node.
  2. Watch: I didn’t remove notifications, I just change the notification method from email to inside the forum(here: http://cocos2d-x.org/notifications ). You can still see the new replies or topics if you watch the node or topic

Now you can change the forum notification method in http://cocos2d-x.org/my/account , choose “Forum notification” by email or by inside message(http://cocos2d-x.org/notifications).

You can also check the “Auto watch the topic after reply”, then you will get notifications of all the new replies of this topic. Or else, you will not watch the topic after you reply it , if you want to get notifications of all the new replies of this topic,you need to watch the topic yourself.
