We were thinking of adding simple UI classes so you could setup basic UIs with a function call which would be dynamically positioned.

You could modify the images and functionality etc

Sounds cool, though I don’t completely understand what the UI functionality would include. For me, the most useful thing in UI space would be something like NGUI for Unity.

In which way it will differ from cocos’ “standard” ui::stuff?

Standard ui::stuff has objects with no functionality and positioning but we would provide some basic functionality and positioning for example you could add a sound toggle item easily and we handle the toggling but you could customise it with your own images.

Hope you understand what we are going for.
