Cocos2d-x 4 on Windows with CLion

Hi.

I see this topic come up every few years.
I cannot get Cocos2d-x to work on windows.
I’ve tried this guide here [Guide] Compiling Cocos2d-x with CLion
and couple of others, but no go…

I spend hours on that.
Any last advises before I give up would be appriciated.

What is your issue exactly, getting Cocos2d-x set up on Windows, or compiling Cocos2d-x using CLion on Windows? They are two entirely different things.

I got cocos set up on windows Visual Studio without a problem. That is not the issue.

I don’t like using visual studio and prefer CLion, as I have years of experience with it.

So I need setting up CLion with mingw, msys2 or whatever to get it to compile and run
