Since the beginning of Cocos-BCX we’ve been fortunate to have an incredible group of partners across the whole blockchain and gaming ecosystem.
Below is a roundup of all of our partnerships we have announced so far with a bit of context on each partner.
Cocos-BCX is a game engine and IDE that will support all blockchains game developers want to build & deploy games onto. Here are a few of our blockchain partners.
Ontology — “Cocos will work with Ontology on the research and development of blockchain applications. Cocos will provide technical services to build an application and development platform for blockchain applications, deploy operating environments for blockchain games, and support a more complete gaming experience with operating efficiency. With Ontology’s chain network, Cocos and Ontology will co-build the distributed trust ecosystem in the gaming industry.”
EOS (Via HelloEOS & IMEOS) — “Recently, the industry-leading game development tool Cocos has teamed up with the HelloEOS & EOS communities to support game development & operation on the EOS blockchain & ecosystem”
This partnership will bring together Cocos-BCX’s expertise in game engine development and services with HelloEOS’s strong graphene blockchain technology development power, to promote Cocos-BCX’s vision of blockchain gaming in both Cocos and EOS’s large community base.
Loom — “Today, I am excited to announce that Loom Network (in partnership with Cocos’s internal developers) will be releasing DApp Chain support for the Cocos game platform.”
Cocos Game Developers will be able to easily integrate with Loom DAppChains to deploy scalable blockchain games. Now any developer with an existing game (or a game currently in development) can evaluate integrating blockchain infrastructure as part of their game mechanics or economy.
In addition The Cocos SDK for Loom DAppChains is already available for use: https://github.com/loomnetwork/cocos-sdk
Nebulas — “Nebulas, a next-generation public blockchain platform, aiming for a continuously improving ecosystem and Cocos, a one-stop mobile game development platform, have agreed to work together with the main agenda on blockchain gaming. The companies will team up to improve their technologies and communities, with the broad objective of establishing and facilitating decentralized app growth and speeding up strong approval for blockchain technology.”
NEO — Cocos-BCX and NEO will be partnering together for the upcoming NEO Game Competition
“The NEO Blockchain Game Development Competition, hosted by NewEconoLabs (NEL) with support from NEO Global Development, has announced a strategic cooperation with Cocos to build the BlaCat game platform and developer ecosystem.”
Kingsoft Cloud — “ The well-known game engine Cocos joined the Jinshan game cloud blockchain ecosystem, a top-level Cloud Computing company in China, which solved the problem of creating projects, game production and packaging on the “chain” for blockchain game developers.”
Cocos-BCX will be partnering with many more game developers as we get closer to our testnet/mainnet launch. At the moment, we have already announced one game developer partnership:
Cell Evolution — Cell Evolution, a blockchain game raised $750k in funding. The round valued the company at a $4.5m valuation was led by San Francisco, CA -based Nebulas Foundation with participation from the gaming platform Cocos Blockchain Expedition and Byte Capital.
We look forward to partnering with many other blockchains, protocols, infrastructure providers, and game developers in the future. We’ll be sure to keep everyone in our community updated on our next set of partners.
