After upgrading from v2.3.3 to v2.4.0, all animation clips cannot be loaded in Timeline.
Now it always say “Current animation component lacks animation clip”.
Play mode will still play animations. Only Timeline seems broken.
Even tried a new scene and adding Animation component/clip. All created in v2.4.0

Found the bug.
Timeline loads clips IF Timeline Tab is docked.
Does not load clips with it is Pop-Out.
A quick patch please?
I have asked a member of our engineering team to review this thread.
This is fixed in 2.4.1.
In 2.4.2, It still doesn’t load animation clips when Timeline is in PopOut.
I didn’t install 2.4.1 to test
