I’ve used Cocos2d-x to port my iOS games to Android and now I’d like to port them to windows phone 8. I’ve dual booted my mac with Windows 8, downloaded the Windows SDk with Visual Studio 2012 for Windows 8 in the package and now I’m not sure which version of Cocos2d-x to download.
I’ve been trying to work with the newest version (2.1.4) but I cannot seem to understand how to create my first project. I will be doing everything in C++ obviously, and I just ported my previous games using the newest version of 2dx.
Can any one help point me in the right direction of how to set up my first project? It seems the Nokia tutorial is out of date. Are there any other tutorials or other resources I’ve overlooked? Thanks for any suggestions!
