We’re very excited to bring our Android cocos2dx game to Windows. We’d like to know when to expect this release.
We were told mid-March, so I’m hoping very soon.
Here’s hoping. Only just now picking up Cocos2D-X because of WP8 development and don’t want to get so far in only to have the API change on me. Would rather get started with the updated code-style (much prefer it C++-y than Objective C-esque _)
Any way to support or fund the merge ?
For what it’s worth it looks like there’s a new ‘v2’ branch (https://github.com/cocos2d-x/cocos2dx-win8/tree/wp8_v2) based on QiMa’s fork (https://github.com/QiMa/Cocos2d-WindowsPhone). Glad to see this pursued and can’t wait for a stable release
