Hello!

I suggest that everyone write a message why you need Cocos Creator on Linux.

I’ll start with myself.
With the latest Windows updates, it’s impossible to work on it. And I do not have money on the Mac. Also, I often tell my friends and colleagues about the virtues of Cocos Creator, but many people say that the lack of build for Linux is critical for them.

For example, for many developers is the plus support for Cocos2d-x under Linux. Perhaps they would like to switch to Cocos Creator but can not.

I hope the developers will listen to us.

P.S.
You can build a version under Linux and mark it as Beta. So that people can use at their own risk :slight_smile:

This has been discussed a lot. We are not supporting Linux at this time. We know developers want it, but the number of developers that want it is very small for us to spend the resources needed to publish it.
I’ll mention this thread to our Creator Lead Developer.

I understand that it takes time and resources.
But I really hope that soon it will be possible.
It’s very painful to work on Windows… :confounded:
