Have published app to alpha.
Have registered test accounts.
Have logged into device as tester.
Can see logcat of products prices etc coming back from google.
However upon trying to purchase I always get the info above?
Do I need to download the app from the store before I can test? I thought I could run my development version from eclipse?
This issue suddenly came to forefront less than two weeks ago, where google has changed some policy.
I was searching in the fourms and found that alpha apps would successfully show the IAP, but I am also facing the same issue.
However, it works fine with published apps, when I use their bundle ID.
Could you please try to download the app from playstore and check… !!
i am logged in as tester and tester logged with google developer, on purchase screen it says enter credit card info but you will not be charged as it is a test account////
If it’s a test account, it will not ask for credit card info I believe.
It will directly show you the successful info, if the purchase is successful.
As I remember, you will share the alpha published app link with others to test as a tester, and they have to download the apk file using that link.
Hi,
I’ve the same issue. Anyone found the solution?
I’ve done everything:
1- I published my Alpha version.
2- I Added a product with title, description, price, etc. and the status is Active.
2- I Added Testers list.
3- I installed the App from the Tester Link in a real device.
4- When I try to purchase the product with the app that I installed, the msg is “The item you requested is not available for purchase”.
