Every time I open a specific script I start to scroll down and the editor freezes. I have to close the whole of studio and reopen but it keeps freezing.
What is causing this because its really starting to annoy me.

as a workaround, you could use Visual Studio Code to edit your scripts. It is much better than the internal editor.
Furthermore, maybe there is some special character in the script that freezes the editor. Did you try to check it?

I Have tried using Visual Studio Code. Set it in cocos preferences but the annoying thing is I change code in VSC I then have to swap tasks to cocos and then into browser for changes to take effect.
Is there a way to prevent this. As in. make changes in VSC and swap to browser to see changes.
