I am working on an Android game using Cocos2D-x. This is a fast paced side scrolling game.
Game is running fine on all devices, except that the game crashes randomly during gameplay.
Could not find any specific pattern to these crashes, but I notice that the game does not crash when audio is disabled.
However, please note that for testing I am loading audio in to the memory, just not playing them. So, I assume it’s not a memory issue.
There is a long BG music sound and quite a few smaller SFX sounds that play in the game.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue or to identify the problem?
Also, let me know on whats the best method to handle short SFX audio? like coin collection sound, boost which plays in quick succession.
