is CCUserDefault secure?

CCUserDefault is supposed to emulate NSUserDefault if I’m understanding correctly. NSUserDefault I heard is not to be used for sensitive data. Would it be possible for a user to change the CCUserDefault values? Thanks

No, CCUserDefault is not secure, it just store your data in an xml file.
So you should encrypt your data before using CCUserDefault.

do you happen to have a direction or link to point me towards. I’m having a little bit of problems trying to get different encryption attempts to work.

woohoo blargh i’m an idiot. I wasn’t converting my encrypted stuff to stuff writable to text. so I was getting funky values all throughout.
