install cocos2d-x-2.2.3 on a mac pc

hey guys i am getting very troubled installing cocos2d-x-2.2.3 on my mac pc.
pls help me on this as i am cracking my head since a day for it.

i have seen the tutorials for installing it but i dont find the xcode template.sh file for installation.
suggest me somthn to install it so that i can start creating my game and start using it

Why not give cocos2d-x 3.0 a try?
The installation process is much easier since the wiki system has many documents.

go to tools and then project creator and run the command ./create_project -project something -package something -language cpp/javascript/lua
