my work around is:
set up a scheduler in sub-thread, but only do it once—set repeat=0.
CCDirector::sharedDirector()->getScheduler()->scheduleSelector(schedule_selector(HttpDownloader::callBackSelector), this, 0, false, 0, 0);
it seem works fine, but i dont know if there are any potential problems.
btw, about async communications between threads, what i want are: 1) send message to any thread from any thread, 2)if the thread is not running, resume it. something like apple’s runloop.
btw2, about async communications, you guys should implement apple’s GCD, as you know, threading is pain in the ass for most developers, we r gonna love you guys if you do that. maybe no block,
no queues, just one global queue.
