i want to update a batch node with sprites,
right now i’m doing it like this:
batch->removeAllChildrenWithCleanup(true); this->readTextfile(); //this takes a long time batch->addChild(sprite1); batch->addChild(sprite2); batch->addChild(sprite3);
and the problem with this is that it does everything in one call so when i update the batch node in the game, the game lags until the sprites are changed, what i want is : removeChildren
> empty screen while readTextfile is operating> add sprites
instead of : same screen while readTextfile is operating -> new screen
any idea how to do this?
