I already made Coloroids with AndEngine before but I wanted to make an Ios version.
So I found Cocos2d-X but then I noticed that it worked a lot better so I decided to focus on a new Android version first.
Out of curiosity, how did you manage to get 4000+ views on your Youtube video? I only ask as I managed a low 300 and I’m finding publicity near impossible in all areas.
Nice game, original too, I like it.

Honestly no idea
I just did some “marketing” like sending emails to review sites, sometimes with luck sometimes without.
I also invested a small amount in admob like 50$ to see what it gives. And it gave a lot of hits.
But mostly my game is already around for a few months so It is 4k views over a long time.
If you got anymore questions, just shoot
I’m glad you like it, sometimes i think it’s just a failure but it is really all about marketing to show your game too people
and without money it’s really really hard.

Sounds good, I might try throwing $50 at admob and seeing what happens.

Yeah, I get that impression from reading a lot about it and trying to get reviews. Getting people to even download the free version is near impossible, nobody knows the game exists! I’m getting 50 downloads of the free version a day.
I have an updated version coming out in a couple of days which has Gamecenter and a “floating” button that appears asking people to rate the app in the app store (I’m having trouble getting ratings in the app store too). I’m planning to spend next week doing promotion only, emailing websites, magazines and papers in all countries. Then see what happens, if nothing then see if a publisher is interested. After that, might be time to call it a day.
