cocos2d-x v2.x.x and arm64

Will there ever be a maintenance release of v2 that fixes arm64 builds?

If not where can I find source code as of July 2014 (in v3.0.0 – i guess) – that has a updated kazmath folder that I can drop into my v2 project and build arm64? I ask because v3.2 seems to have a different directory structure so I am not sure what I need to take from the v3.2 source.

If I do this – i.e. replace kazmath – will everything work?

I doubt it. It seems that the developers of cocos-2dx want to forget 2.x ever happened (according to another forum post anyway…)
