I just found your thread and can only emphasize the importance of cmake (or a cmake-like system) one more time!
We’re having the situation Sergey highlighted. We want to develop for as many platforms as possible, which means we have to use (at least) XCode and Visual Studio (maybe Eclipse).
So how would someone maintain such a project? I mean, the solution can’t be to update the project manually for each IDE, right? (Like when my colleague adds a file in XCode, I have to add it to Visual Studio)
How do you guys handle such situations? I found the ‘android-cmake’ and ‘ios-cmake’ project on the internet. Are they any good for the purpose of maintaining cocos2d-x projects?
