[cocos2d-x-2.1.3] playBackgroundMusic ignores volume set



Working on BlackBerry. I start playing a song with SimpleAudioEngine::sharedEngine()->playBackgroundMusic(), and then I can set the volume with SimpleAudioEngine::sharedEngine()->setBackgroundMusicVolume().

However, when I change the song with another call to playBackgroundMusic, the song is played like it had volume 1.0 set from the beginning, playing very loudly. Calling setBackgroundMusicVolume() after calling playBackgroundMusic does not put the volume to the value set before.

Am I missing something from here? Is this a problem in this version of cocos2d-x?

I see this is an old thread, but this is still an issue in Cocos 3.2 on the Kindle Fire HDX 7, using setBackgroundMusicVolume does not seem to have any affect.
