Its effectively to render pattern texture like in the example given by David but “at low render cost” i don’t know … I think it’s the best replacement of GL.REPEAT for canva
I made the code rapidly because I have a deadline to port a c++ game. It woks fine in general and my fps was good but as you can see I have some colliding bug when using it is overlap under or upper with a ProgressTimer object. I think there some collisions in the context shared by the both …
I was planned to use it to generate some complex background of popup menu of the game (using by GL.REPEAT in OpenGL) but I have finally decide (’cause of this progressTimer bug) to render the texture pattern in a full image and use it as a simple sprite for this part of the game.
But i’m gonna need this pattern sprite for other part, and hope this code will works this time \^
If\ you\ test\ my\ source\ code,\ just\ add\ an\ image\ in\ resource\ and\ remove\ the\ progress\ timer\ code\ to\ see\ it\ should\ work\ fine\^
