We’re building a game with cocos2d-x using the Lua bindings. I noticed that the apk for Android (built in release mode) is over 2 MB in size, excluding resources. This is mostly due to
libcocos2dlua.so being 4.9 MB in size.
libhellocpp.so from samples/Cpp/HelloCpp is only 2.1 MB, compressing down a 0.9 MB apk (excluding resources).
These extra 3 MB seem like a pretty steep price to pay for the convenience of developing in Lua. Is there anything we can do about it?
